A Task Leader from BNTV is appointed for each work party and he/she will liaise with the National Trust Ranger about the task. People wishing to attend should RSVP on Meetup at least 3 days before the event to ensure adequate tools and gloves will be available. Make sure you keep an eye on Meetup as changes/cancellations can take place if the weather changes prior to the work party.
We usually meet at 10am, exact details are provided for each work party. A packed lunch is required with plenty of fluids (non alcoholic!), especially in summer. Wellington boots or good protective foot wear is advisable, a supply of suntan lotion if the weather is so inclined, and wind/waterproofs as necessary. If you have protective working gloves please bring them, if not the Ranger should be able to provide. Old clothes are essential as we sometimes have bonfires.
Regrettably we can't allow people to bring dogs to work parties.
